    Bitrate Calculators - Resolution Question

I have tried a bunch of Bitrate Calculators, but none of them seem to have an input for resolution.

Is that to say that bitrate vs. file size is completely independent of resolution? Am I missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you are not missing anything ... since the resolution of a video is
    not connectet to its bitrate.

but the ADVBITRATE195.exe has such an aspect ratio or proportion calculator! or should I say advisor!!

it is selectable under prop.calc (it once was and i guess the version I suggest is outdated since I do all calculations by brainworks , if possible , I can´t tell anymore")

I am sure the bitrate calculators on here will still provide you with
    proper aspect ratios

and if not ... some avisynth plugins or "gui" will do!!

You got that right. The video file size is largely determined by the nominated bitrate (DivX) or desired file size (XviD).
