TMPGenc Purple Haze, corrects each keyframe

Well as it says after encodeing i get an mpged that looks damn good except theres this purple haze for awhile it seems to correct itself every once and awhile I assume on the keyframe.

I read somewhere where this might be because im using the angelpotion codec, but the only alternative i know of involves installing gain which I really dont want to do.

    From VirtualDub:

    Video source:
    352x240,29.97 fps
    Decompressor:
    APvc MS MPEG-4 V3 / navi

    Using TmpgEenc 2.5(2.56.39.143)
    Heres what I'm doing
    project wizard
VCD-NTSC (which fits the resolution and framerate perfectally)
Other then that i've trid not touching the settings at all.
I've done multiple encodes and they all seem to do this thres something im missing.

Also read that this might have something to do with a 'resize' but my source video and my target are the same so i chose 1:1 VGA, is that my problem?

Any help would be appriciated, even in the form of links to guides that may help me, I don't mind reading or self help, Its just ive tried and failed thus far.

If any other info is required please post a reply and I will supply this info..

Thanx in advance for any help

The God-awful angelpotion "codec" (It's really only a terrible extension of the original DivX v.3.11alpha codec) is certainly the cause of the Jimi Hendrix effect.

Simply download and install the DivX v.3.11alpha codec and use VirtualDub to compress the .AVI using this codec.

Nope - 352x240 is appropriate - and not a contributing factor to Purple Haze...
