    Nero burning problem (i think!!!)

After a lot of stumble i got TMPGenc to work right...

and then i tryed to burn the VCD with Nero 5.5.6.4....
    it finished...

But when i play it on my standalone DVD-player..
it's "pauses" about every 30 secs, it just freezes for about 1 second, and then continous.
Also there is an irritating skip about every sec. (not very noticable, but still you can see it

The .VCD is good (i think) because it plays very well on my pc.

    I think there's a problem with nero.
i burned it twice, with the option (once you draged the file to the burning window.... right mouse click on the file):
    properties.....
Pause after track: 5 / seconds...
    i also tryed:
Pause after track: 0 / seconds...

both had the same irritating problem...

I can tell you this, encoding isn't a 1,2,3 thing...
it comes with a lot of swearing and cursing!!!! %(^$#@

i hope that someone can help me.....

    a guy in high need.....

VCD is not a big secret. Make a STANDARD-VCD, use a good silver-cd-r, burn with nero, ready.
      don't trust in guides

hi, thanx for replying.. i had this one up for a while now..
        and i still haven't found a solution

To: abdul ( ja,,, cast away is nog steeds niet gelukt )

I tryed to burn once a VCD with 2x speed, i thought: i got you suckah... .... but no again.. ..

i have a plextor 12 speed writer, it is common knowledge that this one burnes better at 12 speed than on 8 speed.

        To: Benderman,

And ive done it before with the same cd's, and the same options turned on in NERO....

        so... what now...

Are you sure its not your DVD player - mine plays CDRWs but not CDRs (Panasonic RV30).

Hey... all great thanx to you...

i have the answer what was wrong..
Although i blamed NERO , it was actually my own fault..
              shame.. BIG shame...

What i had done was the following:

i encoded with TMPGenc,.... to VCD...
But the the setting that i had enterd was wrong,
i had given Bitrate: 1800... kbps.

it seems that my dvd-player couldn't handle it..
Although the quality was extreeeeeemmmly good..

i have to do it with a litlle less.... damn..

              ..

So this is really not possible??? huh...
if it is... please tell me, once again: the quality was
extreeeeeeeeemmly good , now there is 300 mb's free on the disc that ins't used....

thanx for your help and support..

              signed,
