    Virtual Dub Audio Stream problem

    Hello,
    I am trying to convert and mpg file to avi using Virtualdub 1.5.6. I select the DivX codec for video compression and for Audio I used DivX audio 64kbps 32KHz stereo. But when I do ' save as AVI' and after the file is saved I play it, the audio of the clip tends to come before the video. This thing gets more and more noticeable as the video proceeds.
    How can I correct this problem. I had tried this before but had not received this problem, I don't know why this problem is coming now. Please help me to solve this !!

    A) If the difference between audio and video is constant throughout the video:

    Load the .AVI file into VirtualDub, VirtualDubMod, or NanDub.
    Set BOTH "Video"(VirtualDub, VirtualDubMod and NanDub) and "Audio" (VirtualDub and NanDub - VirtualDubMOD>"Streams>"Stream list") to "Direct Stream Copy".
    From the "Audio" dropdown menu, select "Interleaving" (For VirtualDubMOD, rightclick on the listed audiostream and then select "Interleaving")
    Under "Audio skew correction", set an appropriate number of milleseconds (positive or negative) in the box labelled "Delay audio track by"
    Save with a new filename

    B) If the difference increases as the movie plays:

    From under the "Video" dropdown menu, select framerate - and select "Change so video and audio durations match"

    Let us know of your success ;>}
