Hi,
i have a problem with FlaskMpeg 3.0e. I have ripped and encoded about half a dozen DVDs with that program. I always use the same settings and Flask did usually have roughly the same speed during encoding: about 11 fps. Right now i am encoding another DVD, and the speed is only about 4-5 fps. Moreover, the encoding speed keeps going up and down. Usually its pretty steady around those 11 fps, now it will go up to 10 fps, then drop to almost 0, then go up again, regardless of priority settings. As i said, all settings are the same (352x288@25 fps, DivX 4 1-pass, bitrate 850, 96 kbps/48 kHz Mp3 Stereo Sound). The only difference is, that this is the first DVD i rip/decode wich is NOT scrambled. But if anything, this should make ripping/encoding FASTER and not slower. Any ideas whats going on there ??
