avi splitter

hi there
I'm trying to install a trial version of some shareware avi splitters available around. (AVI-splitter, ezsplitter, etc). With all them I get an error message about "end of trial period" just after installation so I cannot run the programs. It happens even when using the more recent version of the programs.
Can somebody help?

Try splitting using Virtualdub (or any of its variants) instead...
