Hi all
Since I've installed the ace mega, my webcam don't work correctly, ie:
- it seems that the preview video, in any webcam software (and windows too), don't work: it displays only a black square instead of the real time video
- but I can take picture or record video (test under windows movie maker) and watch the recorded video
so the real problem is that I can't see in real time what the webcam see
and some software, which use the picture of the preview video don't work correctly (like msn, my friend can't see me now, and see only as me, a black square).
I already tried to:
uninstall ace mega pack
reinstall window media player 9
reinstall directX 9
reinstall directX 9 sdk (thinking sdk force installing some composant)
reinstall my webcam driver
but the problem is still here.
If someone already had and solved this problem (whithout reinstalling windows ),...?
I have a Philips toucam pro under windows xp pro, but I don't think the problem come from the webcam (I can take picture and record movie, it's only a display problem).
Thanks
