    DVD2AVI Prob: 3 .ac3 files instead of 1 .wav?

    G'day,
I'm new to this game, so PLEASE forgive any stupidness
I used DVD2AVI on a PAL DVD (after ripping to Hdrive..of course). Got the .d2v file OK...but
got 3 .ac3 files all different size, instead of 1 .wav audio file?
I've got "Headac3he" to convert the .ac3 to .wav .....but witch one would I convert???
This just ain't meant to happen...is it?
    Cheers,
    Nax

Make sure to set DVD2AVI to 'decode' Dolby Digital sound tracks, instead of 'Demux'.

    Regards.

      Cheers Enchanter...will do!

So with these 3 .ac3 files should I encode to WAV or just start the rip all over again?
Since I don't really know witch one, out of the 3 ac3 files is the audio for the vid, is there a way to know witch one to encode ......arrrgh, stuff it.... guess I'll just start again

You can play each .AC3 file in Windows Media Player (or any player capable of handling this file type) and determine for yourself which one is the right one.
