Burning DivX FILES

I dowload DivX files from morpheus, every time i try to burn a file to a blank CD, the computer stops and gives me an error message. I have Easy CD creator 4.0 and it works well with other files. Is there anyway I can ensure that the DivX will be burned, so I don't waste my Cds.

DivX/Avi are normal files like any others. Maybe the file is damaged, the file is to big for the cd-r or you selected the wrong cd-r-project (use ISO and NOT Video-CD).
