    Vdub 1.4c [vbr-mp3/freeze] crash

    WinXP final
    Vdub-mp3 1.4c [1.4.2.11759] crashes every time on "Check video for Freezes" option.

    btw: original 1.4.8 "Detect bad frames" don't crash,but don't do the job ether...

      Doesn't 1_4_8 advise you that the audio is an "unacceptable VBR-MP3 format and propose to change it for you to CBR?

          The audio is 128cbr and 1.4.8 isn't the main reason for this post.
          The saddest thing is that in past I successfully used Vdub 1.4c to detect freeze frames, and now I can't...

          [Btw: most of my movies ARE vbr sound]

          If anyone with WinXP have it working, or know alternative way to detect/fix freeze frames please respond.
