    Help AVI File info

Hi I need some help I got an audio that is out of sync which the video is longer than the sound. I happen to get the AVI File info to fix that problem but for one thing the program won't read the video file. All I did is to add the audio in Virual Dub and save the move so it will have the sound with it and know once I use AVI File info it don't want me to fix the audio problem. I usually do to add an audio in Virual Dub and then checked that both audio and video have Direct Stream copy and saved it so the audio that I added will be on the movie.

    Heres what the error says.

" No Suitable Codec available for Display. This can mean one of the few things. Your system may not recongnise the Video Codec used in the clip you are opening. To verify this try to open it in Windows Media Player. If it opens it may be that the file may be in use by another application. In Windows 98SE, ME, 2000 it may be that explorer is opening it as a preview. In that case it could be locked. Customise the view from Explorer to "No Preview"

I ahve made sure that the right codec are in and test it in Media Player and it works fine except that the audio is out of sync. I also made sure that ther is no other programs running it. I also checked to see if it is a read only file and and it is not checked which is good.

    So what do I do?

It still won't do it even though I have windows XP it still won't load my avi file. Well before I added the sound to the video part I opened the video part in avi file info and it works fine its that after I added the audio it won't do it.

Load the AVI file into "VirtualDubMod" ("File" > "Open Video File"). Then go to "File" > "File Information" and post the information listed in both the video and audio sections of the dialog box, or post a "Screenshot" of the information.
