Re-recording movies

Dear videofriends,

I would like to ask you if someone have experience with re-recording movies played in DivX player. I tried four or five tools, but it's recorded just black screen. Is it possible to record DivX movies (played in DivX player) to another format? (really need re-recording, conversion is not possible). Thanks for answer.

Well DivX video is encrypted and I didn't find any other option how to decrypt it, so than I need re-recording. That's all.
