My pc locks up whenever I open a FOLDER that contains a Divx or an Xvid movie file. No, It doesn't happen when I try to open/view the movie, all I have to do is open the folder and wait 5-10 sec.
Cont-Alt-Del to task manager shows the "My Divx Movies" Folder is not responding and "explorer.exe" is using 100% of cpu.
If by chance I open a movie up before the freeze up, I have no problems viewing it (BSplayer 1.02, DivX player 2.5 or Win. Media Player 10)
Any ideas why?

WinXP sp1 Corp ed.
Amd 700....yeah i know the Smithsonian been hounding me for it
512K PC133 corsair
Divx Pro 5.1 (codec)
XviD-1.0.2-29082004 (Final Release)
Kaspersky Anti-virus 5.0.156
