Sync - Troubles with DivX 5 bundle

I have ripped a DVD with FlaskMpeg XiS exp. v 3.0, with Divx 5 Bundle codec, and when I play that .avi in any player it crashes or it is asynchronous.... I've tried to syinchronize it with Virtualdub v 1.4.9., but it says that DivX 5 is not supported.... Can anybody help me.... Tell me how can I re-sync that avi????

    My configuration is:

    Celleron 633MHz
    256 Mbram
    Win 2000...

    Re

When does this "not supported" massage appear?
i use DivX 5.0 and virtualdub.
To make the videos sync and playable I open the .avi in virtualdub, set video and audio to "direct stream copy" and the video frame rate to 25.058 (to sync PAL movies).
    Then I "Save as AVI".
Hint: use another hard disk as destination - its *much* faster

When you encode your movies with Flask select 44100Hz sample Frequency in the Audio tab of Global project options instead of 48000Hz. This will lesson the load on your Celeron and makes keeping sync a lot easier.

Not all sound cards can decode 48k sample rate in hardware and will use the main CPU to downsample to 44.1k on the fly, which is fine for fast CPU's.
