Mpeg 4?????

what is the difference between Mpeg 4 and DivX. Which is better? How do you encode in Mpeg 4?

divx is mepg4!

the original codec was mspeg 4 which was hacked and out came divx3

not mnuch difference between ms v2 and divx3 though divx3 tends to macroblock errors and frozen frames, whereas ms v2 does not on my machine.

thus my one and only is the original ms v2 codec. handling of course is identical.
