From the VOBSub docs ("supported formats.txt"), that I guess you haven't bothered to read:
"There are two kinds of subtitle formats which the vobsub package can deal with:
1. vobsub ripped: idx/sub[/rar]
2. textual: srt, sub, psb, smi, ssa, ass"
"how should I use vobsub corectly?"
Once again, read the text files (ALL of them) that are bundled with VOBSub, as there is really no reason to convert your .AVI to MPEG, just to place subtitles in the file...
ok.thanks anyway. I had read imediatly after I had write on the forum, in FAQ about subtitle formats.
but I realized that I don't need vob sub. I need a prog with I can make a dvd from an avi file. I had find for a momment avi2dvd. but I don't know the result yet.
