    dvd ripped

    i have downloaded a dvd rip from the web all ok.
    can you tell me what is the best software to copy the rip to vcd please.i no its a daft question but this is my first time,trying to rip dvd downloads to vcd so any help is very much appreciated!!

      That would be called reencoding a DivX file into a VCD. The easiest thing is to use Nero and its Drag&Drop feature. Another more powerful, but more difficult, method is TMPGEnc. This program allows you to create MPEG-1 compliant files, which Nero can automatically burn into VCDs (No more encoding at this stage of course).

      Just be aware that both methods will require a lot of time for the encoding (hours and hours of them) and that TMPGEnc can't accept VBR MP3 audio (Not sure if Nero can).
