    Compression of .avi troubleshooting

    I am trying to compress an .avi file after editing out certain segments, but apparently I'm not going about it in the right way. I put it in 'full processing mode' then try to compress the video in 'Divx Mpeg-4 Low-Motion' or 'Fast motion' then press ok, but I don't have the faintest idea of what to do next.

      Save as .AVI and give a name to the new file, of course.

          Ooops!

          Saving was not the problem... Silly me... I figured out what I actually did wrong. It's so stupid I don't even want to mention it. (for some reason I can't seem to use these drop-down menus right)
