Cant acm3 sound codec movies in virtual dub

Download either the modified versions of VirtualDub (v.1.4c-AC3 or 1_4_8-AC3) or any version of Nandub...

i tried, but it doesnt help... i'm using virtual dub_ac3 n also nandub rc2, both cant play movies with ac3 sound....

You do have the required codecs installed??

If not get a codec pack like nimo or ACE Mega here:
http://www.divx-digest.com/software/ (scroll down to codec section)

Yes, i have all the codecs needed, i can play this movie in windows media player, n everything is ok, but i cant join them together using virtual dub bcause of the above msg...

Have you tried joining the files together nevertheless (ignoring the error message)? Does it work? Set Video & Audio to Direct Stream Copy of course.

If all you want to do is join them together why not just use an avi joiner: http://www.divx-digest.com/software/#cutjoin

Make sure they are all exactly the same dimensions etc though
