When i encode using VirtualDubMod and lame mp3 it comes out flawless but whenever i try it with river past the audio comes out really scratchy.I havent been able to find a suitable audio codec to replace it.I like using river past because i can convert video and audio at the same time.is there any other good mp3 codecs out there like lame?

I found out a way to achieve this with river past and lame mp3.This program doesnt like to encode from vorbis to lame.I had to encode to mpeg-layer3 and then to lame mp3 and it sounds incredibly clear. -
