Ulead Video Studio -> mp3 audio compression problem

    Hi,

I use the Ulead Video Studio 4 - 5 and now the 6. When I try to capture from my DV camcorder, I can not compres the audio to mp3, as the UVS can not see the codec. This way I have to use the PCM, but it has a huge size. I have the Radium mp3 codec. Please, help me, how could I use the mp3 as an audio codec? How could I get the UVS to see the codec?

    Thank you for your help!

Do you have the Radium MP3 codec INSTALLED on your system? if so, and it is not automatically recognized by the Ulead software, I'd suggest you contact the Ulead website for an answer...

Ulead is a piece of s... ! 'cause it's not compatible with mp3 format, whatever codec.

Only solution, use PCM, then recompress audio in MP3 using VirtualDub !

I ran into the same issue with MediaStudio Pro 7. After some swearing & searching, I found this post, confirmed my Radium CoDec was up-to-date, and I also had a Creative Mp3 CoDec that was installed by my sound card software. I removed the Creative CoDec leaving only the Radium CoDec, and my video files processed flawlessly. Ulead is far from a piece of s... It is very much compatible with Mp3 format.
