    Problems with Flask an WIN2K

    Hello there !

I have a big problem with using FLASK 0.594 or 0.6 Preview under win2k. I using DIVX 4.12 and if I try to encode .vob files to AVI (DIVX Files) i have a maximum encode rate of 0,05 frames per second. I have a P III550 with 448 MB SDRAM.

Is this normal, or ist there a option which has to be enabled for a better encoding rate.

A PIII 550 is pretty slow, but still fast enough to achieve more than what you are currently. The fewer settings you turn on (Deinterlace, etc.) and having the iDCT option set to MMX (Not IEEE-1180) should gain you your rightful speed.

      Hello !

Thanks for your answer, but this want go. I uninstalled the codec now, and tried to install the Version 3.11 Alpha. Now the encodingspeed is normal for my computer ( 4 -5 frames per second) Afterwards i uninstalled this codec again and installed the new 5.01. Even with this codec no problems, the ratio is 4-5 frames per second.

Thanks for your help an forgive me my english, i#m from germany
