VirtualDub capture error

I've been using virtualdub for quite sometime now but all of a sudden it's giving me an error ' Panic VirtualDub cannot connect to any capture drivers.Can anyone help me please,Idon't have an idea what to do to start using it again.

Are you using the original version of VD or a modified version? Maybe your TV-software wasn't closed correctly and still uses the driver.

Im using vd 1.1410. And I opened and closed again the tv software but its still the same.Do you think if i uninstall the tv software and re install it will resolve the issue?

It's worth a try and make sure you have the newest version of the video-driver. You can also look under "Capture -> Preferences" in VDs capture-mode if you can select the driver manually.
