Hi,
The problem is with the dvd of matrix revolutions (double layer dvd), I've ripped the main movie (VTS_01_0. ifo and 7 vob files) using dvd decrypter, all went fine in xmpeg until I realized that at time to encode xmpeg doesn't encode the whole movie but only the first half of it.
The xmpeg player display the whole movie without problem but at some point of the seeking bar (close to the middle of the movie, 0.57.30-frame 82.718) the time stamp starts again from 0.00.00 until the end of the movie (1.11.44-frame 103196), like if the movie was splitted or xmpeg would be reading by layers, the fact is that at time to encode xmpeg encode only the first 57.30 minutes.
Is this a bug in xmpeg?
There is any way to encode the whole movie using xmpeg?
DVD Info:
Files:
VTS_01_0.ifo
VTS_01_1.vob (0.99GB)
VTS_01_2.vob (0.99GB)
VTS_01_2.vob (505MB)
VTS_01_4.vob (0.99GB)
VTS_01_5.vob (0.99GB)
VTS_01_6.vob (0.99GB)
VTS_01_4.vob (36.7MB)
Movie Length: 2h 09m 06s
Movie Size: 5.52GB
*I opened the ifo with ifoedit and just where the time stamp is reset in Xmpeg I found this line:
[Cell 15] [V/C id: 7/1] Layer br._ Time: 00:00:29.09 /30 fps [Pos: 00:57:56.21] [Frames 104280]
Could be the problem in the .Ifo? if yes, how can I fix that file in order that Xmpeg takes the movie rightly?
Xmpeg settings:
Video: 672x288, 23.976fps, Xvid 2pass 1320kbps
Audio: Mp3 192kbps 48khz
Thanks in advance for any help
