    VirtualDub sampling rate error...

    I'm trying to join two avi files together, but I keep getting an error saying "Cannot append segment: The audio streams have different sampling rates (15963.00000) vs. (13973.00000)"
    I've made sure the two clips have the same frame rate by encoding BOTH of them under 29.970 fps, but I get the aforementioned error. And both clips are encoded using 44100Hz.

    Can someone help me plz?

    Resave, with new filenames, EACH of the files with audio set to 44,100Hz and MP3 44,100 sampling at 128Kbps. You may have to put a checkmark in "Show all formats". (Set "Video" to "Direct Stream Copying").

    Use the two newly modified files for merging/splicing/appending/joining...

    Let us know of your success ;>}
