Ok, I'm using VirtualDub to encode uncompressed AVI into DivX MPEG-4 Fast motion, and Mpeg Layer-3 audio, and I noticed that in the Config screen for the DivX codec, no matter what I set the bitrate to, the filesize and image quality stay the same.
Is this normal, or is VirtualDub not forcing it to a higher quality?
The video looks fine normal, but if I double the size in WMP, it gets REALLY blocky....
that's what I'm trying to fix, really.
TIA
