Thanks for the info blutach. I'll give Voblbanker and PgEdit another go next time I backup a movie. Was just using Shrink to get rid of all the "extras" that I didn't want and kept the movie @ " no compression" so DVDRB would ecnode the movie ilo transcoding.

DVD Shrink does a poor job at getting rid of extras compared to PgcEdit and VobBlanker. This is because it replaces the title with still frames of your choice - but not just one of them, the same one every 1/2 second. So, a 1 hour extra, is still 1 hour. This results in the extra being trimmed from say 1Gb to a couple of hundred Mb.
VobBlanker/PgcEdit, on the other hand, blank the extra all the way down to 10k (just 1/2 second of video). Much more efficient
Thanks. Guess I'll have to find the time to learn how to use that combo. It's kinda hard to do with a 4 yr. old boy running around the house wanting to "help" all the time.
I can afford the Procoder Express but not the Procoder 2. Is the Express worth the money?
