One last thing. When you remove AVISYNTH, make sure you go into the "plugins" directory and clear it as well. It's possible that some of the filters you've downloaded may prevent AVISYNTH from running on your processor.

Can anyone reccommend setings for a good dvd source for hqdn3d? I'm doing it more for compressabilty. I've tried hqdn3d(2) but don't know if there there is any better setting.Comment

For a good dvd source just use removegrain(mode=1), this will add a very light filter with increased compressibility.
No need to use any other filter.Comment

I would use the removegrain.dll to remove grain and the tweak.dll to brighten.Look in this thread art is giving some examples and asked some darn good questions But the best way to figure out these filters is to read this whole "Using filters in DVD Rebuilder" thread. The next thing would be to experiment and get to know your filtersComment

Where do I download the latest pluggins for AVISYNTH 2.5? I tried the AVISYNTH FILTER COLLECTION site and downloaded the tweak.dill and removegrain.dill. Are these filters for AVISYNTH 2.5,because I downloaded fluxsmooth it said 2.5 but it was just the fluxsmooth.dill I had to download the real fluxsmooth2.5dill from this thread.Comment

If you mean by adding this "C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\FluxSmooth25.dll") then yes and you add the settings underneath it like this
LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\FluxSmooth25.dll")
FluxSmooth(5,7)
FluxSmooth(5,7)Comment

Depends on how bad it is on your movie. If you think it's light then mode 1 and 2 would work ok.If it's real bad then make it stronger like mode 9 or 10.Open the folder with all your filters, there is a in there click on it and you can read about all the settingsLast edited by BR7; 26 Feb 2007, 06:50 PM.Comment
