i tried to open this dvd in dvdshrink....but i got a error...so i ran it through fixvts, what fixed it,but now in dvd shrink is everything shown(whole movie) as a unref. material!Try to encode it with dvd rb again, and got the same message error 0003 again...am i talking to myself here?Comment

Have you done any preprocessing? Error #0003 is DVD-RB telling you that there is a problem with the source. It's normally caused by incorrect removal of video using some third party package. It means there is a huge timing gap found somewhere in the middle of the source.Comment

actually yes,i ripped it usind dvdshrink without compression and removing audio/subs...
after not succeeding to encode it in dvdrb,i tried to open it in shrink, but i got an error, then i opened it in pcg edit, and got this message hat theres something wrong, and that those kind of errors are common to dvdshrink and it asked me if i wanted it to fix the error,i clicked yes,and saved the movie, but it wouldnt open in shrink again, and rebuild failed again,so i ran it trough fixvts and then it would open in shrink, but the whole movie would be opened as unrefferenced material,so i reinstalled dvdrb, tried all 3 phases from begining ang got error 0003 again...
that would be the full !history of problem"...is there any way to do this, its the "i robot",so there was no arcoss or similar
update3:i previewed the movie in shrink and at approximaly the part where i got the error, the movie stops, and starts back from the begining - what could have caused this bad relocation?Last edited by sonic_emperor; 24 Mar 2006, 09:59 AM.Comment

never thought dvdshrink could mix things up like this, taht was my first time to rip in shrink,as i had a small amount of free space left on my disk,so i wanted to make the movie smaller on the fly...thnxComment
