    Need some help to use AutoQmatEnc

    I installed a lasted of DVD RB pro 1.09.3 that has a capability to use AutoQmatEnc. I have couple questions could some one help please.
    1. In Rebuilder.ini, do I need to have a line "CCEAQE = 1"?
    2. In "DVD RB program - general setup - Path to CCE SP (new) - c:\program files\AutoQmatEnc\cctspt.exe". is this correct? I did not find "cctspt.exe" in AutoQmatEnc folder. What file does I need to refer to in this path?
    Thanks,
    Tri

    you will either specify the autoqmatenc.exe in => settings => setup => cce sp trial

    or add the path to autoqmatenc to your rebuilder.ini in the "paths" section:
    autoqmatenc=c:\program files\autoqmatenc\autoqmatenc.exe

      1. You can add the CCEAQE=1 in Rebuilder.ini to enable QMatOp
      and
      2. You need to link "AutoQMatEnc.exe" instead of cctsp.exe in the CCE SP (trial)

          No just tick enable qmatop in the settings
          In "DVD RB program - general setup - Path to CCE SP (new) - c:\program files\AutoQmatEnc\cctspt.exe". is this correct? I did not find "cctspt.exe" in AutoQmatEnc folder. What file does I need to refer to in this path?
          Just add autoqmatenc=c:\program files\autoqmatenc\autoqmatenc.exe as UncasMS pointed out
          In the next version of AQE it will allow DVD-RB to detect it and you wont have to do all this extra stuff

            "CCEAQM=1" has no effect on AutoQMatEnc in DVD-RB v1.09.3. That flag is applied to CCE only. The flag that does the same thing for AutoQMatEnc is:

            AutoQMatAQM=1

            But, of course, as BR7 mentioned you shouldn't be manually setting it anyway, you should select it from the SETTINGS menu.

              Doesn't HCenc support CCEAQM? I use that in the ini file.

                No. HC doesn't have an AQM function. It does, though, have the ability to use adaptive matrices, but only if you first write the code and create a DLL that will select the matrix.

                  Ah, well there we go. I'll remove that from the .ini then. Thanks once again jdobbs!

                    It doesn't really hurt anything. It is only applied when CCE is selected.

                      I never use CCE. I only use HCenc and soon this encoder.

                        @jdobbs and UncasMS
                        I noticed something odd when I go in to AQE advanced settings to adjust how many passes I want it's always greyed out if the CCE Basic is ticked but if you tick CCE SP the AQE pass settings work fine.I dont have CCEAQE=1 in the ini so I know that can't be the problem
                        Thanks

                          is the autoqmatenc path in your rebuilder.ini?

                            Whoops... I used the code from the CCE dialog and forgot to change that part. I'll correct it for v1.09.4.

                            Thanks.
