Oh, I see - no..

Should I be using the latest HC Enc (.18, I think). If so, how should the line differ from this in the .ini - HC=C:\Program Files\DVD-RB\Encoders\HC Encoder\HCbatch.EXE ? Sorry to ask so many questions, but I've searched all over for that answer and can't find it.

Actually, I tried that - that's the same as the .17 setting - but I got the "can't find the encoder" error. Must be a slight change...

Yup - too big

Is there supposed to be a TargetSectors parameter line in my .ini? If so, it's not there.

No - without targetsectors, it should end up with 4.32Gb. Untick menu encoding and try again.

Or you might like to take the issue to the Official DVD Rebuilder forum at doom9.

You could try a different encoder - AQE or Quenc and see how that goes. Is this happening with most DVDs - I see one is at 4.31 and 2 are oversized.

Hey - I'm in there - thanks!!! I'd posted on the DVD RB forum first, then went to Dooom 9 and posted and jdobbs replied right away - then I read what you said. Why is the Dooom 9 forum official and the DVD RB not?
