Should I be using the latest HC Enc (.18, I think). If so, how should the line differ from this in the .ini - HC=C:\Program Files\DVD-RB\Encoders\HC Encoder\HCbatch.EXE ? Sorry to ask so many questions, but I've searched all over for that answer and can't find it.Last edited by loopyloops; 19 Jul 2006, 03:52 AM.Comment

Is there supposed to be a TargetSectors parameter line in my .ini? If so, it's not there.
Sorry about the 3 posts in a row - should have just edited my post - sorry!Last edited by loopyloops; 20 Jul 2006, 07:22 AM.Comment

No - without targetsectors, it should end up with 4.32Gb. Untick menu encoding and try again.

Sorry, I didn't read the whole thread again loopyloops. My apologies. As before, we may need to wait till jdobbs stops by.
Or you might like to take the issue to the Official DVD Rebuilder forum at doom9.
You could try a different encoder - AQE or Quenc and see how that goes. Is this happening with most DVDs - I see one is at 4.31 and 2 are oversized.

jdobbs decided to make the forum for his product at doom9. We started this forum here about a year ago, and jdobbs kindly stops by to answer thorny questions (as does Hank315 and neuron2 from time-to-time).
If I am in the UK the poms would have my arse for flying an Aussie flag and having a roo in my avatar.
