Hello gang, I'm new to DVD Rebuilder, can't wait to try it out. From what I've been reading sounds like an awesome program. I just installed the freebie version and updated to HC020. If I like it I'll probably get the pro version. In your opinion, when doing a high compression movie say 60%, do you prefer to use the HC Encoder in best mode or QuEnc w/Trellis Quantization? I understand that either way will take a long time, but for now time is not a factor. Thanks

For one, throw all ideas of "compression" out the window and start to work in bitrates. HC is an excellent encoder.
I can thoroughly recommend the Pro version - the additional features such as segment editing are awesome. At some stage down the track, you may also wish to experiment with different (professional) encoders.
But certainly HC020 will see you right - you can also look at changing encoding matrices to suit the source material.
Good luck and welcome to DVD Rebuilder.
