          it's just a confirmation of what I already knew, your ram is crippling/choking your cpu's performance

          blu's should be close to mine

          hence his faster times, latency is all about waiting(wait states), lower less waiting, faster ram performance

          when I was testing my box with a video benchmark, I found that I was faster with 512 megs of ram than a gig. The 512 megs had a lower latency

            so 2GB' of DDR2 667MHz cas 4 or cas 3 (dreaming) will get more out of the CPU. Cas 4 is more my price range, cas 3 is about $330.00 CAN and cas 4 is $180.00 CDN. Funny, one online retailer was pushing Kingston RAM on me.
