I'm lost trying to understand these options.
I want to do a short movie/video conversion that I can later burn to DVD. I want to play this on a "stand alone" Sony player connected to a Standard Definition (4.3) TV. I have no need for this video to be played full screen on my PC, or at 16.9 on a TV.
The original video was recorded (captured) online & saved to my HDD. Since it was captured as a 800 x 560 AVI, it is not a standard 4.3 file. I've burned a DVD & played it on my TV (using no change in scale size in Super) the picture is too narrow (sides are clipped).
What settings should I be using in the Video Scale Size options to make this DVD work as indicated, with little or no loss of picture quality?
