Background music in a home made video

Hi everyone.
I'm converting my VHS tapes of the kids to DVD using TMPGEnc Xpress4 and/or TMPGEncAuthor3. Is it possible to add background music. Some scenes don't have much dialogue.

You need a video editing programme for this, like Ulead Video Studio. In TDA3 ,AFAIK, you cannot add a background music.You can add a different audio stream,but cannot mux into an existing stream.
