Adding english subtitles from DVD to VCD

How do you add the english subtitles from a dvd to the vcd? I have a multi-language dvd movie which has the option to watch the movie with english subtitles. The audio dialog is not in english which is why the dvd has the english subtitle option in the movie's menu.

After ripping to the hard drive and using DVD2AVI to change the dvd files to avi, I then use TMPGEnc to convert the avi to the required mpeg file for vcd. How, where, or which dvd file is the english subtitles encoded in? How do I use TMPGEnc to copy the english subtitles? Thanks....

Flask

You have to use Flask for your VCD's. It has two advantages: it adds your subtitles and you can convert your DVD's directly to VCD.
