    SVCD header information

    Hi Guys,

    I want to know how to read the header information of a SVCD (field type, video rate, resolution and other low level information). I am trying to compare two SVCDs (one works on my DVD player and the other does not, even if they are burned with the same software and hardware).

    Can you help on how to do it?

    I am using Ulead visual Studio 6.0 and a DVD player JVC.

      As far as i know JVC dvd players don´t even play SVCDs!!??
      Is it possible, that u used the MPEGAV-Header trick with the one SVCD and not with the other one?? In some cases this works because the DVD-Player thinks he would play an MPEG1-Stream....
      I´m sorry but I cannot help you with your original problem.....

          If they were burned on two different brands of CD-R, this could be the reason for the differing end results...
