avi+srt>vcd

how do I make a video cd out of an avi and srt (subtitle) file?
Which prog will do the trick?
Mostly I use Nero to burn cd's.

I used VCDEasy in the past:

A+ Freeware - Audio & Video - VCDEasy 1.1.5.2 (last freeware version)

Better to just get a player that can play avi/xvid/divx. Then if the file fits on a CD just burn the CD as a data CD.

Or you can split an avi across 2 CDs.
Converting to even SVCD is bound to lose quality.
