Nero Change aspect ratio

When i burn movies with nero the image is changed from 16:9 to 4:3. Any help?

after you inserted you .avi file into your svcd project, right-click it and select Properties... then you will see a drop down in this windows where you select Scale... (in german "Passend skalieren") and then you will get the letter box... black areas at the top and the bottom of the screen...

I have used dup-dvd to convert DVD to VCD/SVCD without problem which u can dl at http://www.dup-dvd.com

I'm having the same problem and the movie is already in MPEG-2 format (widescreen size 720x272). Right clicking on the file properties in the Nero SVCD project window doesn't give any option for letterbox format.
