    1) Perhaps trying a different MPEG plugin will solve your problem

    2) Any observable problems when playing the actual DVD?

    3) As an experiment, use Flask to save it in .AVI format - and see if it goes to completion

    4) Are you selecting the .IFO file or only the .VOBs?

    5) What version of Flask are you using?

    (I still think Stephen King put a hex on your DVD ;>})

      ive tried all the available mpeg plugins, there are no problems
      playing the actual dvd, ive tried saving to avi,ive tried the .ifo and the vob files both. ive used flask v0,594 and v0.6 both.
      i think i know now tho what the problem is. each side of the dvd have 2 groups of large vob files (maybe different chapters). i still dont know. has anyone tried encoding this movie to mpeg and not had any problems? if so please tell me what your settings are for flask. i also had some problems with the movie "matrix". pleeeeeeeeeeeese reply

        "i think i know now tho what the problem is. each side of the dvd have 2 groups of large vob files"

        Now you've made it simple! You'll have to use Flask separately for each side of the two-sided DVD - and save each video with a different filename (e.g. "The Stand 1" and "The Stand 2").

        Each side has its own IFO and chapter structure.

        Using Flask v.0.594, select "Open DVD" for each side and select the proper .IFO.

        Let us know of your success ;>}

          i did that. what im trying to say is each side has 2 chapters or episodes. i give each side a different name, but it only encodes the first chapter or episode on side 1 and the third chapter or episode on side 2. do ya understand what im saying? side 1 has episode 1 & 2. side 2 has episode 3 & 4. im missing in my mpegs episode 2 & 4.

            You just keep adding more surprises ;>}

            1) It's not a single sided DVD
            2) It's not a single movie

            If, as I understand, you're dealing with FOUR episodes, they're apparently structured with one .IFO for each epsiode. Therefore, you'll have to use Flask four separate times("Open DVD" and select the appropriate .IFO - a total of four - for each episode) and create four separate MPEGs.

            As a side note, I recently had a similar pleasure with eight episodes of the good old "Our Gang" comedies...
