    Nero encoding problem

When I use the drag a DivX file on to video CD (using nero) the enconding process is very slow and after it's done I get an error (not enough space). The thing is I've got enough HDspace and my machine shouldn't have any problems encoding a video (PIV 1700, 256 DDR, nvideaGforce4-64) Anybody familiar with this problem?? (TMPGenc however does work perfectly on my computer)

Yeah, don't use nero to encode it's "cack" in a word. Use tmpeg to convert your avi into mpeg 1 and then nero to burn it as a vcd

I tried doing that but I have problems and no one seems able to help. When I use TMPGEnc to convert the subtitles in the avi disappear. Heck I just tried to preview and I see no subtitles in the avi.
