I tried to back my VCD up, but when i use nero to make a copy-to-copy- i get a data error on the cd, the 3rd file maybe be corrupted.

I can't even make an image, doesn't anyone know if there are proggies that rip the files? or do i should just copy them somehow and remake the vcd?

    any help appreciated.

    Clone CD

Don't know if you've sorted the problem yet, but try CLONE CD from Elaborate Bytes. Usually if it can be copied, that will do it.
It makes 1:1 copies. It usually copies everything including protected stuff. Find it here: hxxp://elby.ch/english/products/clone_cd/index.html

you could also extract the .dat file to your HDD and use VCDGear to do a DAT>MPG.

        Hope this helps

Whenever I want to make a copy of one of my VCD/SVCD's, I use CDRWin to copy cd to cd. Never have had a problem. You can also just copy the .dat file onto your hard drive and rename the file to .mpg. I do this also when I want to joing 2 svcd file's together. ( Part 1 and part 2 ) Also works fine.
          Hope it helps...
