Is there a program witch can seperate the audio stream of an avi file other than VirtualDub. Virtual Dub does a great job with most of my movies but there are some exceptions where Virtual Dub gives an error. (It's a long speciffied one) Any suggestions?

Presumably, your "problems" have occurred with .AC3 and VBR-.MP3 audiostreams. NanDub can handle both. Audio editing programs such as GoldWave, CoolEdit etal (and undoubtedly BeSweet and those of its ilk) can also extract .AVI audiostreams for conversion...
