    no sound

I recently started converting some StarTrek enterprise episodes from .asf to .mpeg using TMPEG(to burn it as a vcd) and with some episodes I experience total sound loss in the .mpeg format. Can someone tell me why this is and what I could to against it.
    Thanks

Based on the limited information you've provided, one can only speculate that the audiostream is in a format that TMPGEnc is not capable of processing...

you could try to run it thru virtualdub, and create a wav and then run the video and the new wav thru TMPGEnc..
