You can use TMPGEnc to convert your DivX files to MPEG1-VideoCD format - and then burn your CD-R with NERO.

You cannot play (unconverted) DivX videos on a standalone DVD player...

It also depends on what kind of Divx. If I have a 600 mb divx file and convert it in TMPGEnc, then it plays perfect on my dvd standalone. But when I have a Divx file of between 200-300 mb, TMPGEnc rejects it everytime. Even when I use VirtualDUb to create a seperate audio file. Dont know why it is, but it is this way......mmm????

The best way is tu use TMPGEnc for encoding Divx in MPEG 1 or 2 and VCDEasy (freeware) better than Nero (F.. Off) for create VCD or SVCD and burn it.

I've write a tutorial in french but with pictures in my website : http://perso.club-internet.fr/cyberpic/divx/divx.htm.

the quallity will be bad if u directly convert with nero!

i would prefer to use tmpeg or cce!
