    .mpg w/ No Picture!!!

I use TMPGenc to encode my avi into VCD compatible MPeg format. I use all the proper settings (according to guides I have found on the net). End result, a .mpg file with great sound quality, but no picture!! I've tried many different programs (Ulead VideoStream, etc.) and all have given me the exact same result. So I am completely dumbfounded. Is it my avi thats bad? or is there something i'm doing wrong. Please Advise....

Chances are the video is in DivX v.5.0x or Xvid format, which, to the best of my knowledge, TMPGEnc cannot process...

First, goto my website looking for my tutorial : http://perso.club-internet.fr/cyberpic/divx/videocd.htm

      2. Try another reader for reading your Mpeg (Power DVD for exemple) cause Mplayer doesn't read Mpeg by default and Divx player doesn't so.

      3. Ceate and burn your Mpeg with VCDEasy, much better than NERO.

****, the link to my website never works from this site.

Try http://perso.club-internet.fr/cyberpic directly and follow divx links and then videocd.

I've post an article in french on divx-digest but 2 or 3 picture are loosen.

        Sorry

The link you wrote has an extra '.' at the end of it, so that's why it won't work. I've editted your post to correct the link.

As for missing pics - I'll check it out (I already found a mistake with your DivX guide's link). If there are still missing pics, then it may be because my server is a Linux one, so all cases are sensitive (eg. Image.jpg and image.jpg are actually 2 different files) - if you are working in Windows or if the server is a Windows box, then the cases are not sensitive - please email me for more details.
