    MPG Hissing Sound????

I have an MPG file which has great sound but also has a constant hissing sound. Is there any way to remove or quiet down this hissing sound??

    Thanx in Advanz...

You should be able to use audio editing software (GoldWave, CoolEdit, etc.) to filter out the hiss...

So, I need to first take apart the mpg and thenlaod the audio into a wav editing program? Maybe Nero wav editor will work.. MMM let me try it.
      Thanx in Advance.

        Nope.

If you just "drag and drop" the MPEG file onto an already opened GoldWave, it will automatically extract the audiostream...

Thanx Set a Rip. I tried it and it helped a little. I have an 1800 cpu with 512 ram, and it still took quite a bit of time to accoplish this.. But, it did help, a little..

                  Thanx again..
