How to know the format of an .avi file?

I feel a bit dumb asking this , but i looked in my Explorer and in my WMP but I can't find the place where it tells me the format (NTSC OR PAL).

In WMP, all the info i got is the size, time, resolution and when it was created...

    I'm using WMP 6.4 (98SE & XP) or 8.0 (XP)

    Thx for the help.

From within Explorer, rightclick on the filename.Click on "Properties". Click on "Advanced". Under the section labelled "Video format" you'll see the frames per second ("fps"). 25 fps is the equivalent of PAL, 29.97 and 23.976 fps are NTSC equivalents...

(NTSC and PAL are of no significance when playing .AVI files on your computer)
