    Aspect Ratio Help for Newbie...

Ok guys here goes...1st post & all that......

I've converted an AVI to Mpg1 file (to burn as VCD)...it came in 2 parts so i have disc1.mpg & disc2.mpg as i'm new to this and still learning I converted disc1.mpg 4:3 (no borders, encoded as 4:3).....but disc2.mpg i encoded 16:9 (encoded as 4:3) all done using Dvd2svcd (in avi mode)

So my Question is how do i convert disc1 to match disc2 ?

P.s I've deleted the original avi files...so cannot re-encode that i have to use the 2 mpg files i have.

Is there an easy way.. ??

To convert disc 1 to match disc 2, first open up TMPGenc, at the wizard that pops up select vcd (NTSC, PAL etc...), select your video file. At the next screen, leave non-interlace as it is, but change the aspect ratio to 16:9 display. Then just select the source range (what part of the movie, i presume you want the whole part) and finish. Converting will take some time though depending on the size of the movie. Hope it works for you
