    does anyone know how to make something in quicktime, play in the windows player

      Windows media player doesnt play quicktime movies. Apple and Windows just don't go together

          You can accomplish this by using the cross-platform 3ivx codec to create/modify your .MOV file. This requires installing the PC version of the codec on your PC...
